Latest updates from College of the Siskiyous
Campus-wide Lockdown and Shelter in Place (All Clear Issued)
On October 16, 2024, at 12:15 pm, College of the Siskiyous implemented a campus-wide lockdown and shelter-in-place at the Weed Campus due to reports of a potential threat. Law enforcement conducted a safety sweep and issued an 'ALL CLEAR' at 12:51 pm. No threat was found, and normal operations resumed. No ongoing threat remains, but the college encourages all students and staff to sign up for COS Connect emergency alerts.
College of the Siskiyous Holds Groundbreaking Event for New Student Housing Facility
College of the Siskiyous has begun construction on a new, 36,000-square-foot student housing facility to address critical housing shortages in the Weed community.
