Person-Centered Emergency Response Health and Safety Alert

Agency staff must be prepared to act decisively in emergencies involving people they serve. Common issues leading to inadequate emergency response include not recognizing life-threatening situations, delays in calling 911, improper CPR, and delayed response to choking. Staff must be trained to recognize medical emergencies and activate emergency medical services immediately for events such as severe pain, seizures, chest pain, trouble breathing, head injuries, suspected overdose, suicidal actions, unresponsiveness, or stroke. All staff must know the location of emergency equipment and follow agency guidelines for emergency preparedness.

Entrance Testing for LPN Program Available Year-Round

Harmony Health Care Institute continues to offer entrance testing for the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program throughout the year, including Saturdays. Prospective students are encouraged to check the testing schedule and contact the Admissions Office for appointments.
