How would we know whether a trial was useful?

Agree on the participating group and evaluation method first. Look at setup, whether students can check imported information, whether they return, what they find useful, and the support involved. Use voluntary feedback and only agreed data. A short trial can inform the next product decision; grades or institutional retention need a separate evaluation.
